The Dunhuang Contemporary Art Museum (DCAM) cordially invites you to participate in the “Collaborative Mural Scroll Painting” special event during this May Day holiday. We will unfurl a 100-meter-long canvas, allowing you to engage in an artistic dialogue across time and space with Dunhuang painters from a millennium ago.

No prior painting experience is required! Participants can freely use provided paints and brushes to create under the inspiration of exclusively digitally restored Dunhuang mural patterns from the museum’s collection. Experience the collective flow of artistic creation and the joy of building upon others’ works-in-progress to collaboratively complete this timeless masterpiece.
